ANDA APPROACH
2m 12s
Why full body? Why 3x per week? We’re here to answer all your questions about our “less is more” approach to fitness.
The ANDA approach is based on full body workouts 3x per week and staying active on the days in between
Regardless of whether you follow our weekly schedule or jump into a series – this is the split you will see.
WHY FULL BODY?
As compared to traditional training where you target one area per workout – think leg day, arm day, upper, lower, etc – with full body training, you hit every muscle every workout.
With traditional training, if you want to hit an area more frequently, you add another day to your routine. With full body training – by default – you’re hitting every muscle, multiple times per week.
With traditional training, if you miss a day – you miss a body part. And because you’re probably training 4, 5, maybe more days per week to hit everything – there’s not much flexibility for rescheduling.
With full body training – if you miss a day, you’re still hitting every muscle, multiple times a week – and can trust that you’re developing a balanced physique
WHY 3X PER WEEK?
Fitness is a constant tug of war between how hard you train and how long you need to recover. Train too soon and your fitness won’t improve. Wait too long and you’ll be taking the scenic route.
The ANDA approach is designed to live in that sweet spot.
With traditional training, you do all your exercises for one muscle in one workout. With full body training, you spread those exercises out across the week.
Where traditional training relies on a “more is better” approach to absolutely your body so you need an entire week for recovery, full body training focuses on training just hard enough so you can train smarter, recover better, and ultimately get fitter, faster.
HOW DOES THIS WORK FOR DIFFERENT GOALS?
Full body training isn’t so much a technique as it is a framework for our approach to fitness.
As your goals change, you can adjust the specifics.
You’ll notice that some series have more strength and stability, pilates-style sessions whereas others have more strength and conditioning, athletic-style training.
Same system, different emphasis.
We’ve collaborated with pilates instructors, pelvic PTs, and experts in different areas of fitness so regardless of your goals, we’re able to support you through every season.
